On 20.04.2026, DEVIN - SHARLOPOV HOTELS OOD signed Grant Agreement No. BG16RFPR001-2.004-2131-C01 under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises”, financed by the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises” 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.

Main objective:

The aim of the project proposal is to increase the energy independence, energy efficiency and sustainability of the “SPA Hotel Devin” site managed by “DEVIN-SHARLOPOV HOTELS” OOD, through the deployment of a system for storing electricity generated from renewable energy sources. The investment provides for the integration of batteries with a total capacity of 150 kWh and inverters with a power of 150 kW into the hotel’s existing photovoltaic plant. The project will ensure more efficient use of the electricity generated, will reduce dependence on the electricity distribution grid and will optimise energy costs. As a result, the reliability of the power supply to key hotel systems will be improved, including the spa facilities, heating, air conditioning and kitchen equipment. Carrying out the investment will increase the competitiveness and financial sustainability of the company by improving energy efficiency and reducing operating costs. The project will contribute to reducing carbon emissions, to meeting national and European energy transition targets, and to promoting sustainable energy management in the tourism sector. Through its implementation, “SPA Hotel Devin” will reinforce its commitment to sustainable development, innovation and the provision of quality tourism services with minimal impact on the environment.
